God Speaks Love

It’s not always easy to know God loves you, especially if you have never experienced unconditional love from another person. It then becomes difficult to wrap your head around such love. But God speaks love. He tells us not once, but over and over again how much He loves us. Then He showed all mankind by sending His Son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we may enter into God’s holy presence. Christ’s blood covers our sins so that we are made holy.
This sounds a lot like child sacrifice and therefore, gruesome. But it’s not because Jesus came down to earth to be our sacrifice, of His own free will. He was with God the Father, from the very beginning and knew the plan. He willingly allows us to become co-heirs with Him in Heaven. All three of the trilogy, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit knew all would be needed to show their love for us. God speaks love to us through His actions, His Spirit and His Word.
Take a look below at how God speaks love through His word. When you are in a funk and need to know how important and loved you are, believe God when He tells you how much He loves you.

Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love. Micah 7:18

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God and God abides in him. I John 4:16

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ. II Thessalonians 3:5

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Chirst Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38 & 39

For whom the Lord loves He reproves, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12

Beloved, let us love one another for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. I John 4:7

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not sent the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3: 16 & 17

Finally brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. II Corinthians 11:11
